“The Biscuit Eaters” are a family band from Surry County, NC and enjoy entertaining crowds all over the region. Regulars at area fiddlers’ conventions, the kids compete individually in their instruments and also compete in the folk song and dance categories. The band plays regularly on WPAQ’S live radio show “The Merry Go Round” in Mt. Airy.  The kids are proud participants of the Elkin JAM program, where they are carrying on the old time, bluegrass and gospel traditions of the mountains.
